Shawn agreed to a solo interview shortly after his previous interview done alongside Jack Cortex. In his words, “Just to get it done.”
Interviewer: What is your name and how old are you?
Shawn: Shawn Machmon, and I am 22.
Interviewer: Would you say you had a happy childhood?
Shawn: I don’t talk about my childhood. Next question.
Interviewer: Very well. Any special relationships in your life? Explain.
Shawn: Nope. Nothing too special. I have friends that I would kill for if that counts.
Interviewer: It does. What do you care most about?
Shawn: Life.
Interviewer: What are you obsessed with? Besides ‘life’.
Shawn: Don’t mock me. I am obsessed with becoming a better fighter.
Interviewer: Isn’t that a bit ironic?
Shawn: Next. Question.
Interviewer: What is your greatest fear?
Shawn: Becoming the weapon the Lab wants me to become. To become so mindless, that the only thing I am capable of doing, is taking orders.
Interviewer: What is the best thing that has ever happened to you? What is the worst?
Shawn: Best, escaping. Worst, Lab.
Interviewer: What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
Shawn: *laughs* Ah, once during training, I forgot to load the right pistol. I know, stupid mistake. But, I was running off of a chemical torture under no sleep for four days. I was surprised I even remembered to grab my gun. Anyway, I was going great, acting all tough, went to fire, and nothing. *laughs again* Honestly, it wasn’t that funny, the other guy shot me twice.
Interviewer: That sounds horrible.
Shawn: That’s life.
Interviewer: Not on the outside. Moving on though, what is a trait you deplore in yourself, and in others?
Shawn: I hate how quickly I close up to everyone around me. I hate how other people are so quick to trust.
Interviewer: What living person do you most admire?
Shawn: That’s easy. My older brother, Matthew.
Interviewer: What do you generally lie about?
Shawn: My past.
Interviewer: What living person do you most despise?
Shawn: Um, that’s a tough call. Thaddeus mostly though.
Interviewer: Let’s talk about love. I’ve heard you are a little odd around Karen. Anything you need to get off your chest.
Shawn: No. Next question.
Interviewer: …it’s just that–
Shawn: NEXT QUESTION!
Interviewer: Okay! Okay! What is a talent you would most like to have?
Shawn: I can manipulate water…I have one of the greatest talents. *smiles with pride*
Interviewer: And, last but surely not least, how would you like to die?
Shawn: How would you? *smirks*
